When it’s time for a party do you have your go-to snacks? I do! In fact, they are requested (insisted on is more like it) at the time of the invite. But of course, I don’t mind because they hardly take any time at all. These are some of the most delicious dips for any party you’ll ever make. Oh and did I mention easy?! What’s easier than mixing a few ingredients and throwing it in the oven or fridge, depending on the recipes below, while you finish getting ready? Easy peasy! You’ll love em.

Here are a few dips for any occasion or party. They are great for dipping veggies (carrots, celery, bell peppers, etc.), baguettes, pita chips (any chips really) or crackers. There are so many combinations and variations.

  1. Bruschetta knock-off

8 oz. softened whipped cream cheese

5 oz. garlic & herb feta cheese

Mix the two ingredients in a bowl until fully incorporated and serve with your favorite dip. I used to make this dip with many more ingredients but my friends and family like this version just as much and this way is much easier. Then just enjoy with your favorite snack.

  1. Artichoke dip

2 jars of artichoke hearts drained and chopped

8 oz. softened whipped cream cheese

8 oz. mozzarella cheese

1 C parmesan cheese

1 tsp. garlic

Paprika to taste-just for topping

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Mix ingredients except paprika together and put in a baking dish. Bake until edges are bubbly and starting to brown, about 25 minutes.  Remove from oven and then sprinkle with paprika. Occasionally I also add 2 tsp. of pesto to the mix or a 4oz can of chopped green chilies to give it a slightly different flavor, depends on my mood. Then just enjoy with your favorite snack.

  1. BLT dip

4 oz. real bacon bits

8 oz. softened whipped cream cheese

¼ C mayo

1 C sour cream

2 Roma tomatoes, seeded and chopped

Chop tomatoes and set aside for just before serving. Mix all other ingredients together in a bowl and when ready to serve, mix in the tomatoes. Then just enjoy with your favorite snack.

  1. Jalapeno popper dip

1 C Shredded cheddar cheese

5 jalapenos seeded and chopped

8 oz. softened whipped cream cheese

¼ C mayo

4 oz. real bacon bits

Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Mix all ingredients together in a bowl and transfer to a baking dish. You can leave in some of the jalapeno seeds for heat if you want. Bake until bubbly at the edges, about 20 minutes. Then enjoy with your favorite snack.

       5.  Pico de Gallo

4 Roma tomatoes, diced

½ red onion, diced

½ jalapeno, seeded and diced

1/2 bunch of cilantro

2 tsp. lime juice

¼ tsp. salt

Try to chop everything evenly, then mix in a bowl gently, try not to smash the tomatoes. Cover and let sit in fridge about an hour. Then just enjoy with your favorite chips.

      6. Swiss cheese and bacon dip

8 oz. softened whipped cream cheese

4oz. real bacon bits

½ C mayo

2 tsp. Dijon mustard

1 ½ C Shredded Swiss cheese

I use bacon bits to make it faster but you certainly can use real cooked and chopped bacon. Preheat oven to 400 degrees, then mix all ingredients in a bowl. Transfer to a baking pan and bake until bubbly around the edges, about 15 minutes.  Then enjoy with your favorite snack.

15 oz. can of garbanzo beans or chickpeas, drained and rinsed well

2 tsp. minced garlic

1 Tbsp. lemon juice

2 Tbsp. water

2 Tbsp. Olive oil

¼ tsp. salt or to your taste

  1. Oh whoaaa, that bruschetta knock-off seems like the easiest trick in the book! I love the idea. Next time I’m at the store, I’m going to buy those two ingredients and a sourdough bread and take it as an appetizer to ladies night!
