  1. I try to buy in bulk when I can, storage just seems to be the problem for certain items. I do stock up on meats when they are on sale.

    Using a slow cooker can make all cuts of meat juicy and tender to eat. Even the cheap cuts.
    Definitely agree with sticking to your shopping list. It’s amazing how many “extras” I come home with when I haven’t written a list!

    I am growing some of my own vegetables and find that helps the budget! – freezing any excess!
    I just bought a bit of fresh fruit and cut it up and froze it just so it would last!
    I also find that when I don’t plan, I am shopping all the time and it is quiet costly!
